PRE-INSTALLATION

Upon receiving your hair, be sure to shampoo the hair as this provides optimal utilization of the product, and if there is an issue or defect it will be able to be detected during this time. If there is an issue with the hair, please notify us immediately and we will assist. Our priority is to provide quality coverage and meet your needs, and exchanges can be made within 14 days of receiving your product for hair products that have not been installed or utilized.


MAINTENANCE AFTER INSTALLATION

(EVENTS / CONDITIONS)

Swimming

We do advise against swimming with your hair extensions, but if you must please be sure to follow suit with the following recommendations:

  • Refrain from wearing a swimming cap or a cover that will cause friction and thereby matting

  • Detangle hair through combing and braid the hair into one braid towards the back of the neck

  • Try to refrain from dipping your head below water

  • Loosen braid, comb hair, and shampoo and condition as needed


Dry season (static)

Colder months can cause static to appear with the hair. This easy fix can be solved by dampening your hands lightly with warm water and then rubbing your hands together to create a warm intensity. Next, run the palm of your hands over your hair without touching your hair. Upon completing these steps, you will notice a fixation thereafter.


Sleeping

Upon going to bed, the hair can be braided into one loose large braid, and the loose braid can be undone upon awakening. You may dampen the hair with a water bottle and began to comb through the start of the hair ends. Continue this motion and work upward towards the root of the hair. In order to reform and refine your curls, scrunch up the hair gently at the ends, and then let the hair air dry. If desiring more than the natural curl pattern continue and style as desired.


Shedding

Minimal shedding will occur due to the fact that the extension hair does not receive nutrients from your scalp like your own hair.  Shedding is best minimized by limiting over-application of heat to the hair and appropriately shampooing, conditioning, and treating the hair if choosing to chemically alter the hair
